We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our busy Medical Education, Events and Partnerships team.
The Events Manager will report into the department Lead, and will have responsibility for project managing and overseeing the organisation and running of all congress and events (internally and externally) sponsored by the Napp group both within the UK and internationally.
You will also be responsible for ensuring you build solid relationships with the relevant Brand team, to understand their priorities, and alignment with the company priorities, and effectively develop a good level of customer insight research to propose and deliver events programmes that achieve these priorities and needs.
As Events Manager you will compile an events calendar, proactively seek out events to attend, or create, forecast the commercial events budget for the given year, and manage the sponsorship process for healthcare professionals to attend events, in close liaison with the sales, medical and marketing departments.
As this is a busy and demanding role, we are looking for someone with a solid background in running and creating events. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be ideal but is not essential. Excellent project management skills are key for this position, together with confidence and experience in all areas of event management. Knowledge the respiratory therapy area would be an advantage.
This role is based at our Head Office in Cambridge.
